If you choose to live in the private sector, or are local to Bangor and intend to travel in to Bangor each day you definitely need to be in Bangor by Monday 30th September.
Looking for private accommodation?
If you’re looking for accommodation in the private sector or have queries relating to your tenancy, visit the Student Housing Office's website for further information and contact details.
Will you be living at home during your studies?
Remember that Welcome Week is for ALL new students, whether you’re commuting to University on a daily basis, living in University accommodation, or living in private accommodation.
It’s especially important that you attend these events if you are living at home during your studies. Along with compulsory academic events, there will also be plenty of opportunity for social interaction, so you can:
- meet other new students
- find out more about what to expect as a student
- meet staff and current students
- find your way around the University.
You will find your Welcome Week timetable here.
Car Parking Permit
You can find further information on parking permits here.

If you believe your timetable is incorrect or missing, please contact the Student Administration Team by visiting them on the first floor of Main Arts or e-mailing student-admin@bangor.ac.uk.
