We have many specialist research labs, including an MRI scanner, TMS Labs, EEG facilities, and a human brain anatomy laboratory.
Student Support
The academic support available to ensure you make the most of your potential includes drop-in skills and stats sessions. As psychologists, we have used our skills to embed a mental health skills programme into our courses. At Bangor University, you’ll also benefit from award-winning student support. We have a tutor on hand every working day to deal with pastoral care issues, and you’ll also benefit from the guidance of a dedicated academic, personal tutor.
The Community
Bangor University has a cosmopolitan feel, with staff and students coming to North Wales from across the world to work and study. Alongside this vibrant and multilingual international staff and student community, we offer classes through the medium of Welsh for our local Welsh students.
