Confucius Institute Showcased Chinese Culture at Caernarfon Festival!

The Confucius Institute brought a vibrant energy to the Caernarfon Festival at the Bangor University stand on May 11th. Amidst the festivities, attendees were treated to a delightful immersion into Chinese culture, complemented by perfect weather and captivating Tai Chi performances.

In addition to the enchanting Tai Chi displays the Confucius Institute offered engaging workshops on traditional Chinese calligraphy and bracelet-making. These hands-on experiences allowed participants to delve into the intricacies of Chinese art forms, fostering cultural appreciation and unity.

Dan Xu, the Chinese Director of the Confucius Institute, expressed delight in being part of the festival, emphasising their mission to share the beauty and depth of Chinese culture with the local community. "Through our workshops and demonstrations, we aim to ignite curiosity and forge connections among individuals from diverse backgrounds," Xu remarked.
