Eco-Science day for Schools
Bangor Science Festival
The Eco-Science Day for Schools will introduce school pupils to a wide range of scientific fields and disciplines.
It will inspire and educate them to get involved in science and showcase Bangor University research. The day will include the following for Year 7 and 8 pupils from local schools:
- Talk on ‘Unconscious bias in science’ by Dr Gareth Evans-Jones, School of History, Law and Social Sciences
- Interactive sessions with University staff. School pupils will have the opportunity to learn, ask questions and get involved in a range of demonstrations and exhibitions including Co-Lab, M-SParc, Digital Signal Processing, Nuclear Futures Institute, Robotics and Technocamps, as well as interactive stalls provided by academic schools and external partners.
