Recently, Alex presented online as part of a Europe wide event called 'Heritage Agora: Communicating Dissonance'. His presentation was entitled, ‘Recalling change: Exploring the dissonance in a community and landscape once shaped by the Penrhyn estate’, and was hosted by the Buzludzha Project Foundation, the EUROM, Department of Architecture, University of Bologna, and the Dissonant Heritage Action Group of the Urban Agenda for the EU.
This presentation was extremely well-received and invaluable feedback and discussions developed as a result.

Alex has also written a blog piece, entitled, ‘Eryri: Reframing perceptions and delivering for future needs', which discusses his research project on Ayrsyllfa.

Alex also has an upcoming exhibition, with preparations well underway!
Reflecting on these engagements, Alex commented: 'Having the opportunity to present my work, not only builds my confidence but allows for others to hear how research and projects undertaken at Bangor University have relevance and offer substance to help real-world decision-making. Receiving positive feedback from listeners and co-presenters about my work reiterates to me its importance and interest to wider audiences thinking about landscape change across the UK and Europe.'
