I manage the Immunology service in North Wales. We offer laboratory testing that aids in diagnosing Autoimmune Diseases, allergies and anaphylaxis, plasma cell disorders and immunodeficiency. I am also seeking registration as a Clinical Scientist, with the view of advancing to a Consultant Clinical Scientist role, which acts as a bridge between laboratory and clinical services.

The fast pace and constant challenges we are faced with. Also, the variety of different people that we work with.
What would you say to someone thinking about a career in the NHS?
Don't listen to all you see and hear on the news. The NHS workforce is a FORCE, filled with amazing people who go above and beyond every day for the health and well-being of our patients. There is something for everyone, and opportunities arise often.
