I work within a small team of staff in the cataract suite, I either scrub for the Drs for the surgery, take patients into theatre, admit patients. I Also do the scans and visions for routine ophthalmology clinic appointments too.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Helping patients with their eyesight and giving them a better quality of life.
What would you say to someone thinking about a career in the NHS?
Do it, it's not always easy but it's always a challenge and you're never on your own, always someone to talk to.
