Profile
Peredur Williams is a lecturer in Product Design. He graduated with a BSc (Hons) from Sheffield Hallam University in 1999, and started his first secondary teaching post at Ysgol Cymer Rhondda in South Wales, before moving to Ysgol Brynrefail, Gwynedd in 2001.
Peredur achieved an MA:Design from DeMontfort University looking at creativity within education in 2017
He was part of the Professional Learning Community for sharing and devleoping good crosscuricular educational practices in Gwynedd.
For over 10 years Peredur has been a GCSE Design and Technology (Resistant Materials) exmainer for WJEC, prior to this post he was a WJEC A and AS level moderator for Product Design.
Peredur was made a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) in 2015.
He joined the Design department at Bangor University in 2013 where he lectures on aspects of design and visual communication, CAD and CAM practices, professional studies; he leads Design and manufacture projects. He is also a visiting tutor for work placement experiences.
In 2015 he established Talk Design Live, an annual conference-style event which welcomes alumni and guest speakers.
