Mr Robert Eastwood

Rob Eastwood was appointed the Director of Finance and Research Services (Interim) in March 2020, with responsibility for providing strategic financial leadership advice and guidance on all financial matters across the University and the operation of the Research Support Office. Rob brings extensive experience of the HE Sector, beginning his career in the sector when appointed as Director of Finance at Brunel University is 2007. He moved to the University of Liverpool in 2009 where he had responsibility for the Research Support Office in addition to finance and procurement. Since leaving Liverpool at the end of 2016, Rob has worked as an interim Director of Finance at a number of universities, including two others based in Wales.
