You have to break a few eggs to make an omelette: Is the benefits system broken beyond repair?
Bangor Business School have now released their April Penny for your Thoughts podcast. The Covid-19 pandemic placed unprecedented pressure on the social security system in Wales and across the UK and as a result, the past two years have seen unprecedented challenges. The welfare and ‘work-fare’ systems are discussed and how accounting impacts the financial hardship of welfare recipients.
