Guaranteed Accommodation in Award Winning Halls

Our halls of residence will be you home from home and both our student villages are within walking distance from the main University buildings.

All first year students who start their course in September are guaranteed a place in one of our halls - you can even choose your own room - as long as you apply within the deadline and hold Bangor as your Firm Choice.

Our halls were rated 3rd in the UK for quality of Halls and Student Accommodation in the WhatUni? Student Choice Awards in 2019 and 2022. Halls prices include Campus Life and gym membership.

Our award winning Students' Union clubs and societies are all free to join. We have around 200 to choose from so you're bound to find something you like. In the 2020 WhatUni? Student Choice Awards, Bangor University was voted 2nd in the UK for Sport and Societies, and the 2022 awards placed Bangor's Students' Union in the top 10 in the UK. Our location near Snowdonia also means that adventure is on our doorstep.
