Experience
Dr. Gordon Newlove Asamoah is a tutor at Bangor University International College (BUIC), Bangor Wales. He holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics (Trade Policy) from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. Dr. Asamoah holds Postgraduate degree in MSc Econ (Public Policy) from the University of Hull, UK, and a Bachelor of Education degree in Social Science with Economics and Management combination from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. He is A Chartered Economist from the Global Academy of Financial Management in the USA.
Prior to joining BUIC, Gordon served as the Executive Director for Centre for Economic and Business Research (CEBRE), a Policy Think Tank based in Ghana, from 2016 to 2019, where he was responsible for the day to day running of the Centre. He has worked as an Adjunct Lecturer and Policy Analyst since 2007 and has taught in various universities including University of Education, Ghana Technology University College, Knutsford University College, University College of Management Studies, and Sikkim Manipal University, all in Ghana.
Gordon has also worked as an investment advisor/analyst and a Branch Manager for Easy Investment Services in Ghana. Between 2004 and 2005, Dr. Asamoah worked as a Data Analyst for Npower Yorkshire Ltd, an Energy company based in the UK.
Interests
Travelling, cultural exchange, photography, watching sporting activities and listening to music.
