Confucius Institute Engages and Delights Bangor Summer Festivalgoers
The Confucius Institute played a vibrant role in Bangor Summer Festival on August 19th, facilitating a delightful exchange of traditions and strengthening ties with the local community.
Bangor Summer Festival is a celebration of diverse cultures and witnessed an enthusiastic turnout. Attendees from all walks of life revelled in the artistic wonders of Chinese calligraphy and the intricate craft of paper cutting. These traditional Chinese arts resonated with many, offering a window into the profound cultural heritage they represent.
A true festival highlight was the captivating Tai Chi performance led by Xianke. This mesmerising display of grace and strength garnered resounding applause from the audience. Remarkably, numerous festivalgoers eagerly joined in, demonstrating their keen interest in learning and mastering this ancient martial art.
The Confucius Institute expressed their delight in being a part of the festival.
