Confucius Institute hosts its third edition of English language and culture online winter school!
Bangor University’s Confucius Institute (BUCI) and China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL)] are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its Winter School on English Language and Culture for CUPL Students. The intensive program, held from 8 to 12 January, aimed to enhance language proficiency and foster a deep understanding of English culture among participating students.
Throughout the Winter School, students engaged in a dynamic curriculum designed to strengthen their language skills and immerse them in the rich tapestry of English culture. Participants had the opportunity to interact with Anthony Brooks, an experienced educator and native English speaker, gaining valuable insights into language and cultural nuances. The Winter School not only focused on academic aspects but also encouraged cross-cultural exchange, creating a vibrant and inclusive learning environment.
Feedback from the students has been overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing gratitude for the enriching experience and the significant improvement in their language proficiency. The success of the Winter School underscores BUCI's commitment to providing high-quality education and fostering global connections.
"We are delighted with the success of our Winter School on English Language and Culture for CUPL Students. The positive feedback we've received reflects our team's dedication and our participants' commitment to enhancing their language skills and cultural awareness. This program exemplifies our ongoing efforts to create meaningful educational opportunities that transcend borders and foster international understanding," said Dr Lina Davitt, the Director of the Confucius Institute at Bangor University.
