Conservation agreements in the Comoros - new blog
Bangor University researchers are working alongside the Comorian NGO Dahari and researchers from Oxford University on a two-year project funded by the UK Government’s Darwin Initiative to design a conservation agreements scheme to protect forests on the Comoros, an archipelago nation between Madagascar and Mozambique.
Dr Edwin Pyengar and Professor Julia Jones are using experience from a unique Randomized Control Trial of a Bolivian program to help design the new scheme on Anjouan Island.
A new website showcases the work taking place and will be regularly updated with project news.
