Year 1 Modules

The student must take 180 credits from the modules in Year 1. Students who have a BA or BSc in English Language, Linguistics or a closely related subject may be eligible to be exempt from taking QXL-4432 and should take QXL-4933: Advanced Linguistics Research Methods instead. The choice of which research module is appropriate should be discussed with their personal tutor.

Optional A Students must choose 60-80 credits from the list of modules Optional A. These modules have content specifically relating to bilingualism
