Threshold: D- to D+ (40-49%): No major omissions or inaccuracies in the deployment of information/skills. Some grasp of theoretical/conceptual/practical elements. Integration of theory/practice/information present intermittently in pursuit of the assessed work's objectives.
Good: Lower 2nd Class: C- to C+ (50-59%): Much of the relevant information and skills mostly accurately deployed. Adequate grasp of theoretical/conceptual/practical elements. Learning Outcomes
- Apply theoretical concepts to selected case studies to solve problems in financial risk management for international businesses by implementing of hedging strategies.
- Appraise the practical application of finance theories in international corporate finance, using evaluative skills.
- Formulate recommendations by using critical thinking skills through examination of short-term and long-term impact of alternative financing proposals.
- Use analytical skills to evaluate theoretical research in corporate finance and justify its practical implications for financial management.

Description
Students will be paired in groups of 4 and will complete assignments tasks as a team. The assignment will require students to perform a detailed report analysis of a topic/case study as advised by the lecturer with a minimum of 1600 words and maximum of 2000 words for each student. Marks in group assignments are allocated based on both individual contributions and the group's overall performance. Each member needs to specify their individual contribution to the project by identifying a specific task or responsibility that was carried out. The group's overall performance is assessed based on, among others: attainment of assignment objectives, flow between sections, overall presentation of the assignment, and quality of references used.

Students will take an unseen three-hour long examination paper. The paper will consist of theoretical questions, case studies and computations based around the core finance concepts taught throughout the course.
