Learning Outcomes
- Describe audit procedures to obtain audit evidence.
- Discuss the importance of written representations as a form of audit evidence.
- Evaluate the review and reporting requirements with focus on implications of subsequent events and going concern considerations.
- Explain audit objectives and procedures related to various balances from statement of financial position.
- Identify appropriate assertions at risk for major transaction types and account balances.
- Review the basic elements of audit reports
- Scrutinize computer assisted audit techniques.

Students will attempt an unseen two-hour-long examination paper. The paper will consist of theoretical questions as well as scenariobased questions that will require students to explain key and perform critical analysis of given scenarios in order to provide valid suggestions and solutions.
