The work is focussed, mostly structured and overall, logically presented. There issome original, though mimimal, interpretation and demonstration of links between topics. The work is presented to a good standard with goodcommunication but with some factual or computational errors.

Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate achievement of identified midwifery skills for year 2 outlined in the midwifery practice assessment document.
- Demonstrate and reflect upon the critical application of underpinning knowledge to support the development and assimilation of identified midwifery skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge at an intermediate level of assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating universal and additional care of women and their newborns.
- Demonstrate the development of excellent communication skills, professional behaviour, and an awareness of own limitations, professional responsibility and accountability.
