Access to Masters Scholarships available
A limited number of funded places are available for students interested in studying MA/MSc Sustainable Environmental Management (Welsh Medium) at the School of Environment, Natural Resources and Geography from September 2012.
The places are funded by Access to Masters (ATM), a pan-Wales higher level skills initiative which supports Taught Masters places on courses that are linked to the Welsh Assembly Government’s priority sectors (ICT, Energy and Environment, Advanced Materials and Manufacturing, Creative Industries, Life Sciences, and Financial and Professional Services).
The Scholarships fund a 1 year Masters degree that includes a work placement with a company in the convergence area of Wales (West Wales and the Valleys). The funding covers tuition fees and pays the student a living allowance of £113 per week (46 weeks, tax free). Applicants need to be UK or EU categorised with a permanent or term time address in the convergence area of Wales. Further details of the funding can be found on the ATM website www.bangor.ac.uk/atm
