LGBTQ+ HISTORY MONTH
A series of talks will be held by Bangor University’s School of History, Law and Social Sciences, Tuesday, 21 February, to celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month. The talks will be aimed at A-Level students and will consider religious, philosophical, and historical aspects of LGBTQ+.
Discussions on Buddhist teachings and queerness, the relationship between paganism and the LGBTQ+ community, how Hinduism has engaged with the LGBTQ+ community, and the history of homosexuality during the Holocaust, a topic which is not widely discussed, will be given.
