PGR Research Seminar Series
We are pleased to announce TWO presentations that are being delivered THIS FRIDAY, 25th November 2022, by two PhD students at Bangor Business School. Please come along to support our PGR students and learn about the innovative and topical areas they are currently researching!

PRESENTATION 1 (starts at 14:15)
Title of presentation: “Does the decarbonization fund affect economic sustainability? - bank lending channel”
Presenter: Xiaoxi Qu.
Xiaoxi is a visiting 3rd year PHD student at the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She is currently researching monetary policy transmission mechanisms and resource allocation.
Xiaoxi will present the preliminary stage of the research focussing on the literature review
PRESENTATION 2 (starts at 14:45)
Title of presentation: “Environmental Disclosure, Carbon Emission and Market approach.”
Presenter: Sinem Gokdel.
Sinem is a 2nd year PhD candidate at Bangor Business School. She is currently working as Director at Philips Capital / Project Development and Structured Finance team. Furthermore, she has a skilled volunteering role at Philips Foundation. Her area of research is in Finance, more specifically environmental disclosure, carbon emission and market approaches.
Sinem will present her literature review and data.
Location Directions: Room 018, Main Arts
After walking into the Main Arts Building through the main entrance, walk to the end of the corridor, then turn left. Walk to the end of this corridor, then take the staircase on the right and walk DOWN the staircase to the last floor. Turn right and right again to Seminar Room 018).
Structure: Each presentation will last 20 minutes, followed by a 10-minute discussion. In total, 30 minutes per presentation. Presentations are Chaired by one of the PGR student’s supervisors.
