10/23 World Menopause Day and Upcoming Menopause Support Sessions
On Friday 20th October, the University celebrated World Menopause Day by hosting an interactive webinar on how to support colleagues experiencing menopause. North Wales based wellbeing at work social enterprise, RCS delivered a session that gave advice on coping strategies and reasonable adjustments in the workplace. There are two additional upcoming staff Menopause Support sessions:
Thursday, 23 November, 1:00pm – 2:00pm (MS Teams) - a live Q&A session with Dr Jen Cooney, Health Coach. All colleagues are welcome – if you would like to submit your question in advance, please do so via this form. Add this event to your Outlook calendar by clicking here.
Friday, 1 December, 9:00am – 10:30am – in person, Self-Care During the Menopause, in person session held in the Dinorwig room at Neuadd Reichel with Sian Evans MBSCP – book your place here.
Can’t attend these sessions? There are now a series of recorded Menopause Lounge sessions available for colleagues to access at any time. These cover topics such as hormone replacement therapy, emotional wellbeing and stress, and menopause and nutrition. Simply join the Teams group and click onto the Lounge Learning Resources channel.
