
Bangor University Legal Advice Clinic has been shortlisted for the 20th LawWorks and Attorney General Student Pro Bono Awards in the ‘Best new pro bono activity’ category.
These prestigious awards, supported by the Attorney General and sponsored by Lexis Nexis, recognise outstanding pro bono contributions by law students and law schools, highlighting their positive impact on those in need of legal assistance.
Tracey Horton, Director of Bangor University Legal Advice Clinic and Senior Lecturer in Law, said, “Being shortlisted is a testament to the dedication and commitment of Bangor University law students and staff in providing invaluable legal support to the community. This recognition highlights the Clinic’s ongoing efforts to enhance access to justice and provide meaningful real-world experience for students.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony at the House of Lords on Wednesday, 23 April, attended by the Attorney General, The Rt Hon. Lord Hermer KC.
