Criminology and Policing students visit Greater Manchester Police
Policing and Criminal Justice students had a fantastic opportunity to visit Greater Manchester Police Headquarters with our lectures, Lisa Sparkes and Dewi Roberts. It was a unique experience of meeting various officers based at Manchester and the students were lucky enough to be given talks from Firearms officers, dog handlers, PC's and CID, Terrorism unit and Organised Crime Unit.
Were pleased to be able to offer our students such opportunities when studying Criminology and Policing here at Bangor University. Such experiences give students the opportunities to ask questions to those working in the sector and here first hand their experiences. Trips like these also gives our students the opportunity to start thinking about their future career and what options may be available to them once they graduated.
