He primarily conducts qualitative research analysis, using fieldwork research combined with semi-structured interview methods for data collection. Bo has now completed over 40 interviews with Chinese people who work, study, and travel in different British cities such as Bangor, Manchester, Cambridge, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
With the successful acquisition of this fellowship, Bo expects to expand his fieldwork scope further, thereby enriching his data sources. Bo is supervised by Dr Teresa Crew and Prof Martina Feilzer.
