Teaching awards for two teachers in the School
The School of Philosophy and Religion is celebrating the success of two of its teachers, who both won Student Led Teaching Awards in recognition of their excellent teaching and pastoral support. Mr Joshua Andrews, a PhD student in the School, won ‘Postgraduate Teacher of the Year’, and Dr Lucy Huskinson won the award for ‘Outstanding Pastoral Support’.
Over 900 nominations were made by students for academics and non-academics across the University for 13 different awards. The recent success builds upon previous awards for teaching within the School of Philosophy and Religion, and demonstrates the commitment of staff in the School to teaching excellence and student experience and welfare.
