Mindfulness at Bangor on the European Stage
The International Conference on Mindfulness which took place in Amsterdam recently is part of a series of conferences scheduled every other year in Europe – alternating with the conferences that Bangor University has hosted in Chester for several years.
Bangor University was well represented amongst the subject speakers with Rebecca Crane, Gemma Griffiths and Trish Bartley from the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, presenting topics as varied as diversity, equality and inclusion, teaching mindfulness digitally and holding the group process in mindfulness teaching. Dr Crane, Head of CMRP said “It was a rich and interesting gathering and I’m delighted that Bangor played such a prominent role in the conference.”
