Staff Profile of Louise Morgan

Hello, my name is Louise Morgan, I started my career with a legal education and gained strong business acumen and technical experience; with nearly 10 years’ experience of working within the IBM Europe commercial delivery business community. Over the last 8 years I have become a senior higher education leader within international higher education, fulfilling an extensive scope of responsibilities, delivering optimal results in high-growth dynamic educational environments, I have a background of working in a range of roles across the sector and having worked in both Russell group and non-Russell group universities. I have worked in all international regions and undertaken roles from International Officer, Senior International Officer, Regional Manager, Head of Marketing and Communications to now being very proudly appointed as Deputy Director of International Recruitment and mobility at Bangor University. I was born in Wales, and it is now an absolute privilege to work for such a prestigious Welsh University deeply enriched in such Welsh heritage located in a magnificent UNESCO world heritage site. I have a passion for supporting students to achieve their dreams and change their lives through education and my favourite quote I am driven by was said by Nelson Mandela in that, “education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
