School of Arts, Culture and Language hosts students from Minzu University of China
Bangor University's School of Arts, Culture and Language recently hosted a delegation of students from Minzu University of China. The School has developed close links with Minzu in recent years: there are currently six students from Minzu studying Music and Media, in the Department of Arts, through our partnership agreement.
The visiting Minzu students, led by Ms Jiao, met with Professor Oliver Turnbull (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Global Engagement) and toured the campus.
Professor Ruth McElroy, Head of School of Arts, Culture and Language said;
This was a fantastic opportunity for the School to meet so many students from Minzu University, one of China’s best institutions. Developing international links is a priority for the School as part of our plan for Music.
Dr John Cunningham, Head of Department of Arts said;
Having visited the Minzu campus at Beijing last year, it was wonderful to welcome these students and faculty to Bangor. It was a great opportunity to develop the collaboration between our institutions.
