Prof. Nick Casewell, School of Natural and Environmental Sciences MEEB alumnus receives a Finalist award in The Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists United Kingdom 2025

We’re proud to share that one of our alumni was recently awarded as a Finalist in the highly prestigious Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists UK 2025. These awards recognise outstanding achievements in science and engineering. Nick was a MEEB PhD student with Prof. Wolfgang Wüster and now holds a Chair at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. Nick is one of the world leaders in snakebite research and associated health interventions and it’s great to see his work being recognised.
