Research Interests
As part of my phd research, I will explore the roles of farmers in agroforestry extension services that complement with the public extension services, through a farmer-to-farmer extension models. Effectiveness of the farmer-to-farmer extension will be examined from three agroforestry systems: coffee agroforestry, cacao agroforestry and non-timber forest products-agroforestry, with cases in Indonesia. The results of the study is expected to contribute to the debate on how to scaling-up farmer-to-farmer extension models for supporting the production of important agricultural-forestry commodities.
