Main Library Click and Collect Service

The Library and Archives Service now has a contact free ‘Click and Collect’ service for print materials available in the Main Library.  We believe this is the first such service offered by a Welsh university library since lockdown!

Sign in to Library Search to find the item you need. Make sure the search scope is set to ‘BU Library Collections’ to find books as the default search is currently e-resources.

If the item is showing as located in Main Library and listed as available, click the  Place a hold request (reserve a book) link.

Library staff will contact you to arrange a pick-up time when the requested item is ready for collection. Please only come to collect during your allotted pick up time.

Please note – at present, the service only covers materials held at the Main Library.  We hope to extend the service to include stock held in our other libraries over the coming weeks and will keep library users informed of developments.
