Professor Huskinson's Keynote Lecture in Poland
Recently Professor Lucy Huskinson gave a key note paper in Gdynia, Poland, at the international philosophy conference, Beyond Dualism—Philosophy, Religion, Science, sponsored by the Ereignis Center for Philosophy and the Arts of Poland and Norway.
Her paper, ‘Psychoanalysis and Architecture: mediating connections to the material world’ was very well received and has been commissioned for publication.
Speaking about her experience, Lucy notes, “It was great to have the opportunity to present a paper about architecture and human behaviour in a city renowned for its modernist architecture of the 1920s and 1930s. The places in which we work, live, and think will often impact on the ideas and experiences we have there in ways we often fail to realise”.
