We recently hosted our 140-year Anniversary with Bangor University's biggest Familiarisation Trip, with 22 delegates from over 16 countries and 5 continents. It was an honour to host such prestigious industry experts and we were excited to showcase our phenomenal campus in such a sensational location.
During the week our delegation experienced the magic of our University, our city and our sensational activities, including Zip world, it’s a way of life in North Wales like no other and we are very proud of our Welsh University and heritage.
We sailed out to our first environmental research plot of land on Puffin Island and proved how environmentally pioneering and aware
we were as a University over 125 years ago. From our boat trip to Puffin Island to a masterclass from our School of Ocean Sciences, School of Computer Science and Engineering, and our School of Environmental and Natural Sciences. Our Academics are truly unique, World leading researchers and provide our students with a safe environment to truly excel.
