On Monday 8th of July and Tuesday 9th of July, staff, students and their friends and family were able to celebrate in the achievements of our graduates. The School of History, Law and Social Sciences saw many graduating from several degrees, both undergraduate and postgraduate, both academic and professional.
Reflecting on the two days of celebration, Peter Shapely, Head of the School, said:
“This year's summer graduation has really been a joyous occasion. To be able to gather together to celebrate the achievement of our undergraduate and postgraduate students is such a significant thing, and it has been excellent to see our students, who have worked so hard and achieved well, take that step into the next chapter of their lives.
“The School of History, Law and Social Sciences has supported all of the students while they have been studying at Bangor, and we are keen on keeping in touch and hearing about their future stories. Yes, they have graduated from SHiLSS, but they will always be part of the SHiLSS family.
“I would like to wish every person graduating a huge congratulations and all the very best for the future.”
