CAHSS Spring Research Conference 2025 - Call for Papers
We cordially invite all postgraduate researchers in the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences to submit an abstract for this year’s Spring Research Conference, which will take place on the 2nd of April 2025 from 12:00 – 18:00 in LR’s 4 and 5. Papers on any subject are welcome, so this is a perfect opportunity for students to practice their presentation skills in preparation for any upcoming APR’s.
Abstracts must be no longer than 350 words and will need to be submitted no later than 17:00 on the 28th of February.
Presentations must be no longer than 20 minutes long, with 10 minutes allocated for questions after each talk, giving each delegate a 30-minute slot. PowerPoint presentation format is preferred, though Google Slides and Keynote formats are accepted. A final copy of the presentations will need to be sent to the conference email a week in advance at the latest of the conference date.
This is an excellent opportunity for postgraduates across the college to get together and mingle whilst discussing research projects. It is always an enjoyable and informative day, and we hope to see as many of you as possible. This conference is organised by students, for students, so please do come along and enjoy the afternoon!
