Students applying for Welsh funded Nursing programmes (all fields of nursing i.e. Adult, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Child Health) and Occupational Therapy courses in North Wales and ODP courses across Wales for entry in September 2013.
The National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare (NLIAH) is currently running a process to confirm which Universities will be offering all fields of nurse education (Adult, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Child Health) and Occupational Therapy in North Wales and an all Wales ODP course for entry in September 2013.
NLIAH is doing this to ensure that you receive the highest quality education and you are well prepared to enter the workforce once qualified.
Universities are advertising these courses on the UCAS website as normal and you are being advised to submit applications in line with the UCAS timetable. Universities will know the outcome of the NLIAH process by the end of January 2013 at which time they will know how many places will be available for autumn 2013.
If a course you have selected will not be running in your choice of University in September 2013, you will be given the opportunity to transfer your application to the NLIAH selected University, alternately you may substitute to an alternative choice of course.
The application process will then continue in line with the UCAS cycle. If you have already been offered a deferred place for September 2013 and the University is not the successful bidder, you will be given the opportunity to transfer your place to the NLIAH selected University.
Please Note:
This information relates to the following courses currently offered by Bangor University:
