Bangor lecturer nominated for nationwide ‘Law Teacher of the Year’ award
A senior lecturer at Bangor Law School has been nominated by students for a national award.
Mr Aled Griffiths, Deputy Head of the Law School, has been put forward by his students for Oxford University Press’s annual ‘Law Teacher of the Year’ prize. The competition is open to teachers of Law at all levels of education, from schools to universities and private institutions.
Among the reasons for his nomination were his support of Welsh-language education, his commitment to pastoral care and academic development, and research in the field of law graduate employability.
The results of the nominations will be announced towards the end of the year.
