Catrin wins 1000 Lives competition
Catrin Pink, from Llanon, Ceredigion, a radiography student at the School of Healthcare Sciences campus at Wrexham, has recentlyenjoyed a trip to an international conference in Sweden as a prize for her entry to a competition run by NHS Wales’ ‘1000 Lives’ campaign.
The ‘Ask one Question to Improve Patient Experience’ competition challenges students to use a universal question to support listening and learning at the frontline in health services.
Elizabeth Carver, Clinical Lead for BSc (Hons) Radiography at the School of Healthcare Sciences said:
‘Clearly we are very proud of Catrin, especially as she entered this competition whilst she was only on her first clinical experience placement for her university course. The 1000 Lives improvement service is a very worthwhile organisation which the School actively promotes.”
