First Class achievement for Hannah
Hannah Mundy, 22, from Leek, Staffordshire, is graduating from Bangor University with a first class degree in English Language and Creative Studies this week.
Hannah, a former student at Moorlands Sixth Form College, said: “It feels excellent to be graduating, it’s a huge achievement and I feel like I’ve completed what I set out to do three years ago.
“A degree is such a huge undertaking, and to come out the other side with a First and the School of Creative Studies and Media English Medium Student of the Year Award is more than I ever could have imagined I could achieve.
About Bangor, she added: “I had two jobs in Bangor, I worked with the Marketing Department within the University and as a Warden at Neuadd Willis. Looking back, I shouldn’t have taken so much on in my final year, but I really enjoyed both jobs and wasn’t willing to give them up!
“I also set up Bangor Writers’ League, a networked society for the writing community of Bangor, there’s a lot of us!
“The highlight of my time at University has most definitely been the friends I’ve made, the support of the lecturers and finally getting that letter through the door confirming my final grade.
“In the future, I hope to be happy, successful and to remember my experiences in Bangor with a lot of fondness.”
