Geography and Environmental Science at Bangor University climbs 17 places in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide by subject 2018

The School of Environment, Natural Resources and Geography are delighted that their Geography and Environmental Science courses have risen 17 places to 23^rd in the UK in the latest subject rankings. This reflects the continued growth of the subjects within the school, and the tireless efforts of our staff to deliver the highest quality and innovative teaching.

Our students have been quick to acknowledge their satisfaction, giving an impressive overall student satisfaction rating of 90% in the Geography course, and 100% in the Environmental Science course in the 2017 National Student Survey (NSS). The university has also celebrated recent successes in teaching, receiving a Gold Award in the national Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). Bangor University is in the top 20% of UK providers to receive this rating, and is top in Wales.
