Lesley Griffiths Welsh Government Minister for Health and Social Services visited the School of Healthcare Science Bangor University January 2012. The Minister was given a tour of the teaching and research facilities by Prof David Shepherd (Deputy Vice Chancellor - Research and Enterprise) and Dr Malcolm Godwin (Head of School Healthcare Science). Dr Godwin outlined the roll of the School in providing education and training for the healthcare professions. Prof Jo Rycroft-Malone (University Director of Research) presented the range of research activity undertaken by the School. The Minister spent extra time with staff discussing their wide ranging portfolio of nationally and internationally funded research.
