National Student Survey Success
Results from a recent survey rank Bangor in the top 10 universities in the UK for student satisfaction, and top in Wales.
Within the School of Environment, Natural Resources and Geography, Forestry scored 84% student satisfaction with the quality of the course. Other subjects, such as Physical Geography and Environmental Sciences, recorded 86% satisfaction.
The results are drawn from the National Student Survey, a poll of around half a million graduating students at each university in the UK, which provides the most comprehensive feedback on the student experience at each institution.
Head of School, Professor Morag McDonald noted that “These results are an endorsement of our commitment to providing excellent teaching and pastoral support to our students. Earlier in the year, the School won awards based on commendations from our students for both innovation in teaching and the quality of pastoral care of students”.
