Piano restoration grant awarded

The School of Music was awarded a generous grant of £26,000 from Bangor Alumni / Benefactions Group towards piano restoration. In addition to buying a new Yamaha grand piano for teaching, we will be able to fully recondition our Boesendorfer pianos in PJ hall and Music hall. Following on from the recent overhaul of the Steinway piano in Powis Hall, this will bring all of our concert instruments into top professional shape.
