Professor Gerwyn Wiliams's latest book has been placed on the Short List of Wales Book of the Year 2012
<
Gerwyn Wiliams published Rhwng Gwibdaith a Coldplay (Gwasg y Bwthyn) last summer. Moving between Cardiff Bay and Ground Zero, it conveys his impressions of contemporary life within personal and public spheres.
"I really enjoyed the experience of writing and structuring this book," said the author, "especially the process of investigating form and exploring the fertile creative ground between poetry and prose.”
The category winners of Wales Book of the Year 2012 - factual, fiction and poetry – and then the overall title winner – both English and Welsh - will be named in a ceremony at Cardiff on 12 July.
The revamped competition is organised by Literature Wales and more information can be found on its website:
