Project wins award
A project set up by film maker and SCSM lecturer Joanna Wright, in partnership with the Snowdonia National Park Authority and Ysgol Bro Hedd Wyn in Trawsfynydd, has won an award at the Welsh Heritage Schools Initiative. Pupils at the school digitally recorded oral history interviews with past and present workers from the nuclear power station in Trawsfynydd, as part of a wider project to record the socio-cultural impact of the power station in the area.
