University seeks International Student Ambassadors for 2013/14
The University is seeking to appoint a number of international students to the role of INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AMBASSADOR for the 2013/14 academic year.
This scheme has been running for the last five years and gives current students the opportunity to be the ‘international face’ of the University. The role will involve assisting with the marketing of the University to prospective overseas students and helping the International Student Support Office in welcoming new students once they arrive. It is, therefore, an excellent opportunity to play a part in helping new international students settle in to life at Bangor, and also a way of adding to your CV portfolio.
In addition, participation in any overseas marketing trips may be possible, which will be paid for in full by the University.
Ideally, Ambassadors should be studying at a postgraduate level for 2013/14 and have been at Bangor for at least one year. As we are seeking to appoint a number of Ambassadors, the role will not impinge on students’ studies as the workload will be shared.
Should you be interested in becoming an International Student Ambassador and require more details, please contact: Alan Edwards, Head of International Student Services at email – alan.edwards@bangor.ac.uk
