Overview
Khatera is a third-year Ph.D. student in Accounting and Finance at Bangor Business School, funded by the Cara (Academic at Risk) 1+3 scholarship.
Her research interests centre around Accounting and Finance, supervised by Prof Aziz Jaafar and Dr Danial Hemmings.
Formerly an Assistant Professor at the Economics Faculty of Herat University, she obtained her master's degree from the International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM) in 2020.
Currently, Khatera serves as a student representative for postgraduate research (PGR), a Peer guide for new students, and is a member of the finance team for ACW (Afghan Charity Week).
