Overview
Project title - The magnetic sense of bees: mechanism, function and vulnerability to electromagnetic noise.
I am researching the importance of magnetoception in Apis mellifera navigation and communication and to which extent honeybees may rely on this sense in an ecological setting. I also want to determine whether electromagnetic pollution has an impact on colonies behaviour.
